10 Ways of Success in Islam

1. Intend Then You Will Get It

Never underestimate the power of intention. Intention will bring success. How will you get something if you do not intend yourself to get.

Rasulullah saw said in a hadith:

From Amirul Mu'minin, Abi Hafs Umar bin Al Khottob radiallahuanhu, he said: I heard the Messenger of Allah said: Indeed every deed depends on his intention. And indeed everyone (will be repaid) based on what he intends.

Have you had any intention of success?

It would be better if your intentions are expanded. Good intentions, positive, and lead you to the success of the world and the hereafter.

2. Pray for Your Brother and Sister

The second secret of success of the 10 Ways of Success in Islam is pray for our brother and sister. If we pray for our brother, God willing we will get what we pray.

3. Have knowledge

Somehow, there are people who campaign us to be stupid. Though we as Muslims have to seek knowledge. What is wrong is to seek knowledge without being practiced. Being stupid because lazy to study is also wrong. Acting without knowledge is like walking in the dark.

And indeed the virtue of the knowledgeable and the worshipers such as the virtue (light) of the full moon over all the starlight.

What do you want to succeed? Learn how to reach it. Many people can not achieve their success because they do not have the knowledge.

4. Change

God who decides, but God also instruct us to change ourselves. So, if you want to achieve what you want or change your condition, then change.

Indeed, Allah will not change the condition of a people until they change what is in themselves (Ar-rad 11)

Strangely, many people complain about his condition, want something that has not been achieved, and no improvement in his life. But he has not changed.

Changed for the better, ranging from mindset, ability, targets, and also knowledge.

5. Silaturahim

Silaturahim is the next key to success. Do not because we are connected via facebook, then we never meet in person. Take some time to meet people. Both people we already know and new people.

6. Pray

And when My servants ask you, [O Muhammad], concerning Me - indeed I am near. I respond to the invocation of the supplicant when he calls upon Me. So let them respond to Me [by obedience] and believe in Me that they may be [rightly] guided (Al-Baqarah 186)

The hadith of Imam Turmudzi and Hakim, narrated from Abdullah ibn Umar, that the Prophet SAW said: "Whoever his heart is open to pray, the doors of grace will be opened for him. Indeed the prayer is beneficial to something that is happening and That has not happened yet. And no one can escape from fate except prayer, then, O servant of God, hold on to pray ".

7. Tawakal

From Umar ibn Khoththob radhiyallahu anhu, that the Prophet sallallaahu alaihi wasallam said: "If you trust Allah in truth-in trust, He will provide you with sustenance as He gives sustenance to a bird that goes on a morning in hunger, and Back in the afternoon in satiety. "
(Narrated by at-Tirmidhi)

8.Shadaqah

The example of those who spend their wealth in the way of Allah is like a seed [of grain] which grows seven spikes; In each spike is a hundred grains. And God multiplies [His reward] for whom He wills. And Allah is all-Encompassing and Knowing. (Al-Baqarah 261)

9. Be Grateful

And [remember] when your Lord proclaimed, 'If you are grateful, I will surely increase you [in favor]; but if you deny, indeed, My punishment is severe.

10. Taqwa

And when they have [nearly] fulfilled their term, either retain them according to acceptable terms or part with them according to acceptable terms. And bring to witness two just men from among you and establish the testimony for [the acceptance of] Allah . That is instructed to whoever should believe in Allah and the Last day. And whoever fears Allah - He will make for him a way out. And will provide for him from where he does not expect. And whoever relies upon Allah - then He is sufficient for him. Indeed, Allah will accomplish His purpose. Allah has already set for everything a [decreed] extent. (At-Talaq 2-3)

10 Ways of Success in Islam, this is only part of the way of success that exists in the Qur'an and hadith. There are many ways to be successful. Completely success, not just success in the world, but also in the afterlife.
